Approach
Migration ran in three batches over a 72-hour window: catalog Friday night, customers + orders Saturday, redirects + DNS Sunday early morning. Theme was a custom Dawn-derivative built during a 4-week prep phase.
Gotchas
WooCommerce variable products with 100+ variants required productSet mutation chunking. ACF fields on 60% of products migrated to metafield definitions under namespace custom.
Outcome
Zero data loss, organic traffic held within 5% week-on-week, recovered to baseline within 14 days. Order conversion rate +9% in month 1 (faster store).
